Meet Our Key Executives

Frederick Marx

Frederick is our CEO. He founded Keylingo Translations to help businesses everywhere do business anywhere. Born into a military family, international travel and language are two things about which Frederick has been familiar since the age of three. Now slightly older, Frederick believes that good translation is even more “Key” today than it was back then. From managing a commercial loan portfolio of international clients, to receiving his MBA at the Goizueta Business School, and on to working as an expat in Santiago, Chile Frederick honed his business skills before striking out on his own. Now with Keylingo well established and successful, Frederick is living his entrepreneurial dream and has now set his sights on helping others do the same.

Stuart Sutherland

Stuart is Keylingo’s CLO. As a transactions attorney, Stuart has always been in the business of language. He started with the international law firm of Troutman Sanders LLP in 1983 and stayed on as a partner until the end of 2005, when he decided that it was time to move on to other ventures (including Keylingo of course). During most of Stuart’s tenure at Troutman, he was the leader of the firm’s franchise practice. He also conducted complex infrastructure transactions in the mining and energy sectors. His international law practice has touched on Asia and Europe but has focused principally on Latin America. Stuart now works for Keylingo. However, since leaving Troutman, Stuart has continued to do law work for select legacy clients and devotes part of his time to alternative energy.
